always described as a harmonious

YOUNGSVILLE – There was standing room only Tuesday morning at the funeral for Sullivan County Elections Commissioner Rodney Gaebel. He died at age 66 on Thursday, July 23.
Among those who attended the funeral service at The United Reformed Church of Youngsville was County Legislature Chairman Scott Samuelson, who said he was a trusted advisor.
“He was a senior guy that you went to for answers and for advice and he has been here a long time and guided the county through a lot of things. He is going to be tremendously missed,” Samuelson said.
Gaebel served on the county legislature and was a Callicoon town supervisor prior to being appointed to the elections commissioner post.
