SAUGERTIES – Police arrested two men in connection with drug sales and possession in Saugerties.
URGENT Task Force and Saugerties Police arrested Mark McFarlane, 25, of Poughkeepsie, following the sale of 94 decks of heroin. Also arrested was Marvin Parada, 28, of Kingston, who was found in possession of heroin.
McFarlane was charged with felonies of criminal sale and possession of drugs and the misdemeanor of resisting arrest. He was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 bond.
Parada was charged with misdemeanor drug possession and was released to reappear in village court.
Police did not say when the arrests were made.
