KINGSTON – The Ulster County grand jury indicted a Kingston man on charges that he raped a 10-year-old girl.
Antelmo Solis Perez, 35, was charged with course of sexual conduct against a child, rape and two counts of sexual abuse, all in the first degree.
Shortly after the incident, Perez fled the area and was thought to have left the country, but with the aid of federal authorities, was tracked down to Delaware.
Perez was arrested by the US Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force last month at a relative’s home in Delaware. He was brought back to Kingston and charged with the crimes.
