Pleasant Valley man arrested for threatening with knife

PLEASANT VALLEY – A Pleasant Valley man is in the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash bail or $40,000 bond following an incident last Sunday, July 12.
State Police charged Shawn Springsteen, 50, with threatening a victim with a knife at a house in the town.   He was charged with felony aggravated family offense and misdemeanor menacing. He was charged with the felony when his criminal history revealed a previous family offense conviction in 2013.
