Kingston woman charged with allowing daughter to fight

KINGSTON – A Kingston woman was charged with allowing her underage daughter to have a physical altercation with another juvenile.
Rodesia Jones, 37, of Garraghan Drive was charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child in connection with the July 14 incident.
She was arrested after Kingston City Police were advised of an expected fight in the area of 3 Garraghan Drive and found Jones among a group of underage youths. She was allowing her daughter to fight with another juvenile at the time. Detectives immediately broke up the fight.
Once it was determined no one was seriously injured, Jones was arrested. She was issued an appearance ticket returnable to city court.
