Teen arrested three times in three days

KINGSTON – A 17-year-old Kingston
youth was arrested three times in as many days this week.

City Police were called to a Brewster Street residence on July 7 for a
domestic incident in which the youth, whose name police did not make public,
allegedly threatened a family member with an ice pick, struck the victim
and damaged property.

The teen was charged with criminal mischief and an order of protection
was issued.

The following day, police were called back to the same location and charged
with youth with criminal possession of stolen property. He was sent to
the Ulster County Jail and later released.

On July 9, the youth was arrested by Kingston Police on charges of felony
burglary, criminal possession of stolen property, resisting arrest and
disorderly conduct.

He allegedly stole property from the relative’s house on July 8.

This time, the teen was remanded to the county jail in lieu of $5,000
cash bail.
