Woodstock man arrested for growing marijuana

WOODSTOCK – A Woodstock man has been arrested for operating a marijuana growing operation at his residence.
State Police charged Gerhard Funk, 67, with criminal possession of marijuana and unlawful growing of cannabis, both as misdemeanors.
On Tuesday, July 7 troopers from the Kingston barracks were following
up on an unrelated investigation of harassment in the Town of Woodstock
when they observed Funk growing cannabis plants inside his home. He then
voluntarily led the investigating officer to additional cannabis plants
he was growing on his property. Funk was also found in possession of dried
marijuana for personal use
He was charged and released on a town court appearance ticket.
