POUGHKEEPSIE – A 21-year-old New Windsor
man, who was walking to his car on North Bridge Street in Poughkeepsie
shortly after 2 a.m. Sunday, was shot in the leg.
The victim told police as he was headed for his car, he heard four gunshots
and realized he had been hit. He was driven to Vassar Brothers Medical
Center by a private vehicle.
The victim, who suffered a through and through gunshot wound, told police
he had no idea who shot him or why.
