NEWBURGH – The overdose miracle drug Narcan has apparently saved another person.
Newburgh City Police found a 40-year-old Newburgh man in the parking lot of Dunkin Donuts at 674 Broadway on Saturday afternoon. He was found unconscious and not breathing with part of his body still in the car.
Office John Jenerose administered Narcan at which time the man began breathing and became responsive.
An ambulance transported the victim to Saint Luke’s Cornwall Hospital.
