TOWN OF POUGHKEEPSIE – A Wappingers Falls man was arrested early Monday after he was spotted by Town of Poughkeepsie Police trying to steal tires and rims from a vehicle at Luxury Vehicles of the Hudson Valley, a BMW dealership, on South Road. The value of the rims and tires was approximately $5,280.
Shaun Milewski, 19, fled when he saw the officers, but was apprehended a short time later.
Milewski was charged with felony attempted grand larceny and misdemeanors of criminal possession of burglary tools, obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest. He was sent to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.
