SAUGERTIES – A bicyclist was charged
by Saugerties Police with running a red light and crashing into a vehicle
at the intersection of routes 212 and 32.
Police said Einn Moore, 22, of Saugerties was charged with the traffic infraction following the incident on Saturday. The investigation found that a 16-year-old driver was legally traveling from the parking lot of Hess when a bike, ridden by Moore failed to stop for a red night and crashed into the vehicle.
Moore was evaluated at the scene and refused medical attention.
