Depew seeks second term as Wallkill supervisor

TOWN OF WALLKILL – Supervisor Daniel
Depew announced on Monday that he is seeking a third two-year term as
Wallkill town supervisor this November.

The former Republican Orange County legislator said he wants to continue taking the town on the course he began with his first term.
“Reaching for the stars and trying to bring new things here that are positive to the town will be my commitment and sustaining our bond rating and improving our financial situation will continue with the right group,” he said.
Depew said in small town elections, candidates that focused on “the general global good of the community” is essential.
Town Councilman Daniel Tulp also announced that because of family and
business obligations, he would not seek reelection. In his place, current
chairman of the zoning board of appeals Eric Johnson announced he would
run for Wallkill Town Board.
