Second suspect arrested in Poughkeepsie home invasion

POUGHKEEPSIE – Police arrested a second suspect in connection with a home invasion burglary at a City of Poughkeepsie residence on Monday.
The suspects had fled in a car stolen from the victim and crashed it in the Town of Poughkeepsie where they fled on foot.
Town Police announced the arrest on Tuesday of Jermaine Ringler, 42, of 77 Cottage Street in Poughkeepsie on charges of felony criminal possession of stolen property, fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle, speeding, unsafe passing and aggravated unlicensed operation due to a suspended driver’s license.
Jerome Elting, 33, of the City of Poughkeepsie was arrested Monday and charged with felony burglary and assault in connection with the break-in on Rinaldi Boulevard.
