Connecticut hang glider killed in Wawarsing accident

TOWN OF WAWARSING – A Shelton, Connecticut
man was killed Sunday evening when he was hang gliding and struck a mountainside
in Wawarsing.
State Police said Scott Trueblood, 44, a newly licensed pilot with the Ellenville Flight School, was hang gliding near Route 52 when the accident occurred around 6:08 p.m. He was dead at the scene.
The cause of the accident is pending an investigation.
State Police were assisted by Ellenville Police and Fire, EMS and Cragsmoor EMS.
