ALBANY – A group of 16 state senators has issued a one sentence statement saying that Senate Majority Leader Dean Skelos should remain on in that position.
Among those supporting that effort is William Larkin (R, Cornwall-on-Hudson), the only Mid-Hudson senator to do so.
In a joint statement, the senators said Skelos “has the leadership we need to move the Senate forward so that we can continue to do the people’s work and finish out this year’s session in a productive manner.”
Skelos and his son face federal charges, which were filed earlier this week.
