GOSHEN – The Goshen Republican Committee has endorsed Goshen Village Justice Rory Brady as their candidate for Goshen town justice in the November election.
Serving as town justice would not require Brady to step down from his current post as village justice.
Brady’s full-time job is as an attorney.
“A town court justice requires more than just a law degree and legal acumen, it requires diligence, respect for the public, and an understanding of the impact that court procedures have on families and individuals outside of the courtroom,” Brady said. “My diverse background gives me the big picture perspective necessary to effectively accomplish that.”
Law degrees are not required for justices in New York.
