WASHINGTON – An almost $926,000 federal grant has been approved for Hudson River HealthCare, Inc. of Peekskill to provide care to people living with HIV.
The funds, through the Ryan White program, seek to assist people living with HIV by supporting primary medical care and essential support services.  The regional program provides services for more than 400 people in the HIV program in a 10-county region.
“This money allows us to provide the highest quality of care to HIV patients and their families, including early intervention, outreach, peer support, primary care services, care management, strong nursing support and a family approach,” said Hudson River HealthCare President Anne Nolon.
Congresswoman Nita Lowey (D, NY17) announced the grant.
