Two arrested on drug charges in Poughkeepsie

POUGHKEEPSIE – Armed with a search warrant, Poughkeepsie City Police conducted a search of an apartment at 10 Bement Avenue on Wednesday, confiscated drugs, a gun and suspected drug money.
Officers from the Neighborhood Recovery Unit and Emergency Services Unit seized 16 bags of heroin, roughly 11.5 grams of crack cocaine, 8.4 grams of marijuana, 121 controlled substance pills, $384 in cash, as well as a semi-automatic handgun and ammunition of several calibers.
Jody McCormick-Danielle, 41, of that address, was charged with felony criminal possession of drugs. Shawn Grey, also 41, was charged with felony drug possession and criminal possession of a weapon.  Gray was also arrested on a warrant for assault and McCormick-Daniele was wanted on a bench warrant for criminal mischief out of City of Kingston Court.
Gray is in the Dutchess County Jail without bail.  McCormick-Daniele’s bail was set at $20,000 cash or $40,000 bond.
