STORMVILLE – Green Haven Corrections Officer Erica Tagliaferri,
34, has resigned after she was charged with providing an inmate at the
Stormville state prison with clothing and other prohibited items.
The Poughkeepsie resident had been charged by State Police with promoting prison contraband.
Following her arrest, she was placed on administrative leave, but she
resigned from the job she held for the last 10 years on Wednesday, prison
system officials said.
