HAMPTONBURGH – For the last year or so, Orange County officials would only say a major health-related company was looking at locating in the Town of Hamptonburgh. They dubbed the secretive project “Black Hawk.”
The company, which sources identified to MidHudsonNews.com as McKesson Corporation, has closed on the property off Neelytown Road with the project to be developed once local approvals are secured.
McKesson is headquartered in San Francisco, California and has offices across the United States as well as in Canada, England and New Zealand.  The company is multi-faceted with products and services including hospital information systems, diagnostic imaging services, population health management, and medical-surgical supplies and services.
It is believed the Orange County facility will be used as a distribution center for the Northeast.
