TOWN OF RED HOOK – A male Bard College student is charged with raping a fellow Bard student during the early morning hours of February 8.
Sam Ketchum, 22, is accused of having sex with the victim without her consent. He was arrested on April 24 after a week-long investigation and charged with felony rape. He was released on $2,500 cash bail.
The incident is alleged to have occurred at the victim’s residence and reported to the college shortly after it occurred, but was not reported to police until April 16 when the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office was notified by the victim’s attorney.
