Driver stopped with assortment of drugs in his car

CHESTER – A man stopped for speeding on Route 17 in the Village of Chester landed him in jail last Friday when State Police found a load of drugs in his car.
Police pulled over Yosef Joselit, 20, of Woodridge, for doing 90 in a 65 mile an hour zone. He admitted to smoking marijuana and heroin before driving and field sobriety tests led to his address for driving while ability impaired by drugs.
Police searched his car and found an expandable baton, marijuana, cocaine, heroin, psilocybin and several different prescription pills.
Joselit was charged with felony and misdemeanor drug possession, criminal possession of marijuana and DWAI drugs.  He was sent to the Orange County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail.
