Two men charged with stealing power tools from Westchester store

CORTLANDT – Two Dutchess County men were arrested late Sunday afternoon for allegedly stealing power tools from the Home Depot store in the Town of Cortlandt.
A loss prevention officer told state troopers he observed a man take several power tools from shelves and leave the store without paying for them. The employee followed the man outside and located a second man also in possession of power tolls.
Arrested were Ryan McNamee, 38, of Wappingers Falls, and Michael Horowitz, 23, o Beacon. They were both charged with felony grand larceny.
McNamee was sent to the Westchester County Jail without bail due to his having several outstanding warrants for his arrest.
Horowitz was jailed in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond.
