of Jerusha Christie, 27, whose body was found on March 17 at the former
Hudson River Psychiatric Center in Hyde Park. William McKinney, 55, of

Christie died of a stab wound to the chest; however, police would not
say if a weapon was recovered.

Another man, Gerome Harris, 33, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested on Tuesday
and charged with hindering the prosecution for helping to dump the woman’s
body at the psych center property in Hyde Park.

DeQuardo said Christie was killed at 333 Mansion Street in Poughkeepsie,
where Harris was arrested.

McKinney was remanded to the Dutchess County Jail without bail.

The investigation was conducted by the State Police Troop K, Hyde Park
