Woman charged with stealing family member’s identity

DOVER – A Pleasant Valley woman was arrested for allegedly obtaining several credit cards using a family member’s social security number and making $4,000 in purchases on them.
Crystal Dearstyne, 27, was charged by State Police with identity theft, grand larceny, and petit larceny.  She was arraigned and released on her own recognizance pending a future court appearance.
