St. Pat’s crackdown results in 33 arrests in Dutchess County

POUGHKEEPSIE – During the St. Patrick’s Day crackdown period of March 14 through March 18, police in Dutchess County conducted impaired driving details resulting in the arrests of 33 people, 30 for impaired driving and three on other charges.
The majority of those arrested are from Dutchess County; however, two men are from Massachusetts, another two are from Connecticut, one is from Marlboro, one is from the Bronx and one is from Mahopac.
The crackdown police detail included the sheriff’s office, State Police, town police from Poughkeepsie, Hyde Park, East Fishkill, city police from Poughkeepsie and Beacon, and village police from Millerton and Wappingers Falls.
