KINGSTON – City Police in Kingston arrested an 18-year-old woman following an investigation over a several week period into crack cocaine being sold city-wide.
On Wednesday, March 18 detectives determined the drugs were being stored in the Port Ewen area and went to a location in Sleightburgh where they found the woman and a substantial amount of crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia.
The suspect, who police did not publicly identify, was arrested and charged with felonies of criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminally using drug paraphernalia.
The Kingston Police Special Investigations Unit was assisted by the Ulster Regional Gang Enforcement Narcotics Team.
