AMENIA – The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal hit-and-run accident on Bog Hollow Road in the Town of Amenia that occurred around 8 p.m. Thursday.
Concetta Eastman, 36, of Copake, was in the process of getting into her vehicle, which was parked on the edge of Bog Hollow Road in the Town of Amenia when a southbound vehicle struck her and left the scene.  She died later at Sharon Hospital in Connecticut.
The sheriff’s office is working to identify the driver responsible
for striking Eastman and driving off.

The truck was last seen traveling south on Bog Hollow Road near the Connecticut state border.
