POUGHKEEPSIE – Dutchess County has lost “a dedicated public servant” with the death of Warren Wigsten. The former county legislator died on Saturday at age 88.
Wigsten also served as Pleasant Valley town supervisor and Dutchess County Fair director.
“He lived to serve his neighbors,” County Executive Marcus
Molinaro said on Monday. “Dutchess County lost a dedicated public
servant in Warren Wigsten.”
The county executive ordered all flags on county government facilities lowered to half-staff on Monday in honor of the former county legislator.
