CHESTER – Isomedix, which provides medical sterilization services, wants to build a second facility in the Town of Chester and is seeking Orange County Industrial Development Agency financial benefits.
IDA Associate Executive Director Laurie Villasuso said the agency gave its initial approval on Monday.
Isometrix wants to develop an adjacent parcel of land. The company requested a sales tax exemption on construction materials and the IDA board approved the initial resolution for that purpose.
Isometrix employs 110 people and will add 25 new jobs when it builds the new 61,000 square foot facility.
