CT couple charged with shoplifting over $2,500 in merchandise from mall store

WEST NYACK – A Bethel, CT couple has been arrested and charged with stealing over $2,500 worth of merchandise from the Sephora store at the Palisades Center Mall in West Nyack.
Alexander Daignault, 24, and Meghan Keating, 23, were observed by loss prevention employees taking the clothing and accessories on Saturday afternoon.
They were charged by Clarkstown Police with felony grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property. Keating was also charged with misdemeanor criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument.  Both were sent to the Rockland County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail for Daignault and $3,000 for Keating.
