KINGSTON – A Connelly man was arrested following an investigation into the sale of crack cocaine.
Members of the URGENT Task Force arrested James Adams, 38, also known as “Sputey,” on two counts of criminal sale of drugs and two counts of criminal possession with intent to sell, all as felonies.  Adams, who faces several state parole violations, is an associate of the Bloods criminal street gang.
He was indicted by the Ulster County grand jury in February and taken into custody on James Street in Connelly on Tuesday afternoon.  Adams was sent to the Ulster County Jail without bail.
