Four of 17 establishments sell alcohol to minors in compliance check

WASHINGTONVILLE – State and local authorities this week conducted compliance checks of licensed establishment that might be selling alcoholic beverages to underage individuals.
The operation was conducted by Washingtonville and Blooming Grove Police, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office and the State Liquor Authority and out of 17 establishments at which an underage person tried to buy alcohol, only four are charged with breaking the law.
Employees at Jerri Anne’s Place and Loughran’s in Blooming Gove and Napoli’s Restaurant and F & J Pizza in Washingtonville were cited. At F & J, Jessica Migliorini, 29, of Washingtonville at Napoli’s, India Shock, 41, of the City of Newburgh, were each charged with misdemeanor unlawful dealing with a child.
