WHITE PLAINS – A Cortlandt Manor man was sentenced Monday to 50 years in federal prison for engaging in sexual activity with seven minors, all under the age of 11, for videotaping the sexual abuse, and for transporting videos depicting him engaged in sexual activity with minors to recipients outside New
York.
Richard Dinizo, 60, pled guilty in May 2014.
Authorities alleged that Dinizo used trickery and deceit to engage the young children. He transported his homemade videos outside the state with his video files being recovered in several law enforcement investigations throughout the country and internationally.
In December 2013, he pled guilty to three counts of predatory sexual assault against a child in Westchester County Supreme Court. In February 2014, he was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison.
