LIBERTY – Long-time Sullivan County Coroner Thomas Warren died
Sunday night. He was 73.
Warren, who also owned Ramsay’s Funeral Home in Liberty, was found dead in his vehicle after he had gone on a coroner call.
Sullivan County Emergency Services Commissioner Richard Martinkovic said
Warren advised him on many matters relating to the field over the years.
“As he is part of the Public Safety Division of the county and I am the commissioner, I can tell you I went to Tom with many a question, many of a request and he never ever said no; he always said he would look into it and make peace for whatever it might be at the time,” Martinkovic said. “We will truly miss him and I know I will miss him as a friend.”
Warren was also active in the community as a volunteer fireman with the Liberty Fire Department and several service organizations.
