MONTICELLO – The executive director of the New York State Association of Counties, Stephen Acquario, will speak at the first session of the Sullivan County Charter Review Commission to be held on Wednesday, February 18.
The 13-member commission, appointed by County Legislature Chairman Scott Samuelson, is beginning a review of the charter and could recommend changes to it, including changing the form of county government.
The session, which is open to the public, will begin at 6 p.m. in the Sullivan County Government Center Hearing Room in Monticello.
