HUD public housing grants announced

WASHINGTON – US Housing and Urban Development grants through the Capital Fund Program will deliver over $1.4 million in funds to public housing facilities in five counties.
The funds will allow the housing agencies to improve facilities for those people in need, including modernizing apartments.

Columbia County – Hudson Housing Authority will receive $187,360.
Dutchess County – Poughkeepsie Housing Authority will receive $598,159.  City of Beacon Housing Authority will receive $251,874.
Greene County – Catskill Housing Authority will receive $113,897.
Orange County – Newburgh Housing Authority will receive $132,395.
Port Jervis Housing Authority will receive $76,310.
Rockland County – Town of Ramapo Housing Authority will receive $169,637.
