ELLENVILLE – An Ellenville woman has
been indicted by an Ulster County grand jury on an assault charge in connection
with a January incident in the village.
Lottie Michael, 37, of 9 Barbara Lane is accused of striking a 29-year-old
woman in the head with a metal instrument after an argument. Michael fled
the scene, but was later apprehended and was also charged with criminal
possession of a weapon.
The victim was transported to Ellenville Regional Hospital for treatment
of a concussion and a deep laceration.
