Troopers investigate hit-and-run accident

CORTLANDT – A 26-year-old Yorktown
man suffered non-life threatening injuries late Tuesday night when he
was struck by a vehicle as he walked on Lexington Avenue in the Town of
Cortlandt.

The victim, Alex Hoy, told police he was struck by a vehicle that fled
the scene. The vehicle sustained a broken windshield and continued to
travel south on Lexington Avenue.

Hoy was taken to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla for treatment
of his injuries.

Anyone with information about a suspected vehicle with windshield damage
consistent with a crash is asked to call State Police at 914-788-8042
