KINGSTON – A Poughkeepsie man was arrested on charges that he sold heroin to an undercover police officer in the Town of Lloyd.
Kingston City Police arrested Shaquille Heirs, 20, of Cooper Street in Poughkeepsie on felony charges of possession and sale of drugs as well as unlawful possession of marijuana. Police had conducted a buy-bust operation on Route 9W in Lloyd that led to Heirs’ arrest.
Heirs was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.
The Kingston Police Special Investigations Unit was assisted by State Police and Town of Lloyd Police.
