KINGSTON – A former state trooper assigned to the Kingston barracks has been charged with menacing a man with a firearm.
Kevin Kesick, who retired on a disability, was arrested one month ago following an alleged incident in the Town of Olive. The incident occurred on January 2 when Kesick is said to have pointed what appeared to be a handgun at the other man.
He appeared in town court on February 4 to face a charge of menacing in the second degree and was released on his own recognizance pending a future court appearance.
An order of protection was issued against Kesick, his pistol permit was suspended and any guns he owns must be turned in.
