Beacon man arrested for bringing contraband into upstate prison

ROMULUS – A Beacon man is in the Seneca County Jail for allegedly bringing approximately 38 grams of marijuana to a prisoner at the Five Points Correctional Facility in Romulus during a visit.
Isalaam Paulin, 29, was charged last Friday, February 6, with criminal sale and possession of marijuana and introducing contraband into a correctional facility.  Paulin is being held in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.
Five Points prison is a maximum security male facility.
