Woman charged in Sullivan home burglary

LIBERTY — Liberty Village Police Thursday arrested a 22-year-old Grahamsville
woman after an investigation into a residential burglary in the village.

A homeowner reported a burglary on January 5 with cash and checks stolen
from their home.

Investigation revealed that Angela Disanto had broken into the home on
two occasions, stole cash and checks, forged one of the checks and tried
to pass it at a local bank.

She was charged with two counts of burglary, criminal possession of a
forged instrument, and forgery, all as felonies, as well as misdemeanors
of petit larceny, criminal mischief and criminal possession of stolen
property.

She was arraigned and remanded to the Sullivan County Jail without bail
pending a future court appearance.

Village of Liberty Police were assisted in the Investigation by investigators
from the State Police Liberty barracks.
