NEW YORK – The US Marshal’s Service Regional Fugitive Task Force has arrested three Newburgh men in New York City on unrelated charges.
William Boykin, 25, was wanted by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office on an outstanding warrant for violation of probation. His original charge was criminal possession of stolen property.
Tyron Adams, 23, was wanted by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office on an outstanding warrant for violation of probation. His original charge was burglary.
James Melvin, 23, was wanted as a fugitive from justice as a sex offender from the state of North Carolina Division of Parole on an outstanding warrant as a parole absconder. His original charges were indecent liberty with a minor and possession and sale of a controlled substance.
All three men were turned over to the respective wanting services.
