MILFORD, PA – A Middletown man was sentenced to one to three years in Pennsylvania state prison for the crime of theft by deception.
Antony Moliterno, 25, took a number of items including a store money card to the check-out at a store in Westfall Township. He asked the clerk to activate the store card with $975 and once activated, he slid it in his pocket.
Once the clerk finished ringing up his purchases, Moliterno said he had to go to the ATM to get cash and would be right back and handed the clerk a different money card that had not been activated.  He left the store and went to another one in Westfall Township where he used the activated car toward the purchase of $1,057 in power tools.
