Man charged with attacking girlfriend with wrench

KINGSTON – A Lake Katrine man is accused of assaulting his girlfriend with a wrench. The incident occurred during a domestic dispute in which he allegedly struck her with the tool and obstructed her breathing.
Ulster County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the HealthAlliance of the Hudson Valley Broadway Campus at about 9:30 on Wednesday evening for a repo0rt of the victim being treated there.
Ronald Drolet, 38, was charged with felony assault and misdemeanors of criminal possession of a weapon, criminal obstruction of breathing and menacing.  He is in the Ulster County jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $15,000 bond.
