KINGSTON – One of the Ulster County
Sheriff’s Office’s Top 10 Most Wanted fugitives has been arrested
on child support-related charges.
Deputies arrested Joseph Paes, 52, of Middletown on Friday, January 30,
on two warrants, both related to non-payment of child support. One was
from 2006 from Ulster County Court and the other was from 2010 from Town
of Ulster Court.
Paes owes $133,000 in child support payments, police said.
He was arraigned and remanded to the Ulster County Jail in Lieu of $75,000
cash bail.
