PINE PLAINS – A Kingston man was killed late Tuesday night in a one-car crash in the Town of Pine Plains and police said it appears that driver inattention may have been a possible factor.
The Dutchess County Sheriff’s deputies and Town of Pine Plains Police responded to Route 199 near Mt. Ross Road at 10:45 p.m.
Police said Jeffrey D’Aguilar, 28, the lone occupant, was eastbound on Route 199 when he lost control of his car, which overturned, partially ejecting him. He was not wearing a seatbelt.
D’Aguilar, 28, was declared dead at Northern Dutchess Hospital.
