POUGHKEEPSIE – A warrant search conducted by Poughkeepsie City Police on Tuesday resulted in the arrests of two people and the seizure of narcotics.
Officers with the Neighborhood Recovery Unit and Emergency Services Unit conducted the search at 513 Main Street following an investigation into drug distribution there.
Officers recovered 521 bags of heroin, 107 bags of PCP, packaging materials, a small quantity of marijuana and $866 in cash.
Melissa Ramirez-Pittman, 40, and Berry Pittman, Jr., 39, both of that address, were charged with felony drug possession.
