POUGHKEEPSIE – A 46-year-old Poughkeepsie
man was arrested on Saturday after city police conducted a warrant search
at an apartment at 169 Mansion Street.
Officers of the city’s Neighborhood Recovery unit and Emergency
services Unit charged Darrell Ward with felony drug possession.
Officers seized cocaine, scales, packaging material, marijuana and some
$1,450 in cash.
The search was the result of an investigation conducted by the Neighborhood
recovery Unit regarding narcotics distribution at that address.
Residents with information about drug dealing or suspicious activity in
their neighborhood are asked to call the Poughkeepsie Police Department’s
